Maybe we are not supposed to be happy
Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with happiness
Maybe to be grateful means to appreciate
What we have
Who we are
Enjoying little victories
To simply admire efforts required to make us human beings
Maybe we are grateful for familiar things
And maybe we are grateful for things we are never supposed to know
And at the end of the day...standing up is enough a reason
To be happy…
